ST. LOUIS — A familiar voice on the radio is now energizing crowds on the football field, as Sean “Scooda” Thomas steps into the spotlight in a whole new way. Known to listeners across the region, Scooda has spent the past two years hosting on Boost Radio, where his mission is simple, spread positivity, hope, and encouragement through music.

“God has opened up so many different doors to just encourage, inspire, uplift people by just being me,” Thomas said. On-air, he’s built a following by offering an alternative to mainstream music, one that focuses on uplifting messages rather than negativity. “You don’t have to listen to music that makes you feel bad… you can listen to music that gives you hope,” he said.
But when the weekend rolls around, Scooda trades the mic in the studio for a microphone on the field.
He’s now the in-game host for the St. Louis Battlehawks, where he’s responsible for keeping thousands of fans engaged and energized throughout the game. “Basically hyping the crowd the entire game, making sure Battlehawk Nation is fired up,” Thomas said.
